What is a Death Doula?
We plan for the birth of a child. Why not plan for the end of our lives too?
A Death Doula is not a new concept. It’s something people have been doing for thousands of years, in many cultures. It involves all non-medical support, for you and your loved ones, when you’re given a terminal diagnosis, or when you are coming to the end of your life.
Some people doing this work are called End-Of-Life Consultants, or Deathwalkers. I like to use Death Doula or Deathwalker, as I don’t want to shy away from what we are really talking about. I want to dispel the fear around the word ‘Death’.
How I can help you
As a Death Doula or Deathwalker, I offer non-medical support for you and your loved ones, when you’re given a terminal diagnosis, or when you are coming to the end of your life. I walk alongside you and your loved ones, in service to you.
I can take you from when you are well, through to supporting family & friends in their bereavement.
There are many ways I can support you or your loved ones. Here are some of them.
